Your partner in advisory, accounting and audit

Reliable certification of your accounts

Statutory certification of your accounts for lasting financial reliability and transparency.

Statutory audit

At Accura Advisory, we act as statutory auditor to attest that your financial statements are regular and give a true and fair view. We carry out an independent statutory audit, in compliance with professional standards and the Moroccan regulatory framework.

Our engagement is for companies required to appoint an auditor by law, or with transparency obligations towards their stakeholders (investors, lenders or partners). It aims to strengthen the credibility of your accounts and give third parties additional confidence.

A rigorous engagement that meets legal requirements

Our work includes reviewing accounting procedures, verifying balances, testing significant transactions and assessing risks. We apply a strict methodology: risk identification, tests of controls and analysis of anomalies. This approach aims to obtain reasonable assurance that your accounts, taken as a whole, are regular and give a true and fair view, and that they meet the obligations arising from the Commercial Code and professional standards.

  • Review of internal procedures
  • Consistency tests on balances
  • Analysis of significant accounts
  • The auditor’s report and opinion

A statutory auditor close to your business

Being based in Marrakech lets us come on site quickly and keep up a regular dialogue with management. Throughout the mandate, we share our observations as we go, so the certification of your accounts holds no surprises and meets the legal deadlines.

A reliable, structured audit method that complies with standards

  1. Preparation and planning

  2. Collecting the accounting information

  3. Carrying out the audit work

  4. Summary and certification

Our statutory audit approach follows a rigorous four-step methodology. We begin with preparation and planning of the engagement, precisely defining its scope and identifying the legal obligations that apply to your company. Next, we move on to collecting the accounting information, by exchanging documents, studying your internal procedures and understanding your operating environment. This phase lays the foundations for a targeted, consistent and relevant audit.

We then carry out the audit work, including compliance tests, cross-analyses and examination of sensitive accounting flows. Each point is analysed with objectivity and method. Finally, we move on to summary and certification: drafting the final report, forming a reasoned opinion and presenting our conclusions to management. This approach ensures a clear, transparent audit aligned with Moroccan standards and international professional standards.

Your questions

Answers to the questions our clients ask us most often. Another question? Contact us.

  • It is compulsory for all public limited companies (SA, Law 17-95), whatever their size, and for limited liability companies (SARL) whose turnover at the end of the financial year exceeds 50 million dirhams (Law 5-96). Some sector-specific texts also require it, and shareholders can always appoint one voluntarily.

  • A statutory audit is required by law, whereas a contractual audit is voluntary and initiated by the company or its partners.

  • The statutory auditor is appointed for three financial years (Law 17-95 for SAs, Law 5-96 for SARLs), and the mandate is renewable. The timetable of work is planned each year.

  • Not the company whose accounts it certifies: under the principle of independence, it cannot provide advisory or bookkeeping services there that would lead it to audit its own work. Accura Advisory can, however, advise companies for which it is not the statutory auditor.
